Chapter 615: Chapter 609: Death’s Lair – End

The entire asteroid belt had already encircled the planet in all directions. Obviously, this planet was located above the asteroid belt. Although it was close to the star, due to the dense blockade of asteroids, the light that reached it was not very strong.

The spaceship quickly headed towards a port where many other ships were docked. On the steel rings made of steel structures above it, Finn Lewis saw a myriad of cannon ports. Was this a place where the dead congregate? All criminals? This place was completely different from what Finn had imagined.

In Finn’s imagination, this place should have been constructed on a larger asteroid. However, as it turned out, there was not just one planet here, and it was clear that plant life existed on this planet. The entire planet was almost entirely covered in green vegetation.

In any case, there was a lot more green vegetation than on Earth. There were oceans on this planet, but the areas of the oceans and the land were about half and half.

The spaceship quickly approached the two enormous steel rings. As the ship drew closer, the two rings appeared increasingly huge. Finn was somewhat awestruck. This was merely a criminal gathering place, akin to pirates. He wondered what a sight the capital of the Galactic Federation must be!

Such huge steel constructions must have required a significant amount of resources to complete. However, when Finn considered the countless asteroids surrounding them, ripe for resource extraction, he felt relieved. One shouldn’t view it from an earthly perspective. The implementation of resource extraction techniques here was certainly far beyond what was possible on Earth.

When approaching a port, the ship paused briefly before finally docking. Finn noticed that at every port, both sides were lined with numerous cannon ports of varying sizes. He guessed that a ship causing trouble here would be taken down before it even had a chance to act.

“Mr. Lewis, please head to the 16th floor main entry point of the ship,” came the voice of the control system’s navigation AI, Peach Blossom.

Finn nodded and, following Peach Blossom’s guidance, headed forward. By the time he reached the 16th floor, Dunn Monty and Thomas Calvin had already arrived. Jasmine Davis and her team were also there.

“Your Highness, you can relax downstairs for a while. Take this communicator with you. If we leave, we’ll notify you. Dunn Monty will tell you about any other business. I won’t meddle further. Have fun—this place offers many unique experiences you won’t find anywhere else!” Jasmine Davis winked playfully at Finn, then promptly turned around and left.

“Your Highness, shall we descend? I think we’d be better off staying on the ship,” Dunn Monty, standing next to Finn, cautiously suggested.

“Since we’re here, we should go and take a look,” Finn said decisively. He hadn’t forgotten about the warrant on his head. No matter what, he had to deal with that before doing anything else. Although this place was filled with criminals with warrants on their heads too, Finn didn’t want to parade about with a warrant on his own.

Besides, he had intentionally ventured into the territory of the Galactic Federation. His enemies would have fewer reservations about attacking him here. Finn wasn’t sure if he’d been detected yet, but he’d rather be safe than sorry.

Furthermore, Finn had other plans in mind. Since everything here could be purchased with star credits, he didn’t mind buying some items. He had already intended to leave Earth, and he also planned to reveal some things on Earth. But since he was ready to venture beyond Earth, he needed to prepare for a direct attack by his enemies’ warships and buy some defense equipment.

Another worry for Finn was that if he inherited Earth as his heritage, the area around Earth would be considered his private property. However, because of his private territory’s emergence, if anyone declared war on him, the supervisory bureau wouldn’t be able to intervene.

There were many kinds of wars between these families—it was something Finn had discovered aboard Jasmine Davis’s ship. The Galactic Federation was not entirely peaceful, as evidenced by the existence of people like Jasmine Davis and her team.

So Finn had to visit this place, since anything could be purchased here, including whatever else Finn might need in the future.

“Alright then, Your Highness, follow me,” Dunn Monty said with a resigned smile before leading Finn out. The ship’s exit was linked to the port, allowing Finn and his group to disembark directly. Upon their exit, a purple-skinned child who appeared to be about ten years old immediately stopped a bizarre-looking floating vehicle in front of them. It seemed similar to a tour bus on Earth.

“Would you gentlemen like a ride into Star Harbor? It is quite a distance away. My vehicle is very cheap,” offered the child, smiling broadly. Aside from his unusual skin color, he didn’t seem much different from a human.

“Let’s go,” Finn said, stepping into the vehicle. Dunn Monty and Thomas Calvin naturally followed.

“Excellent!” The child driver grinned broadly. It was at this point that Finn found it strange—were most of the people here speaking the language of the Flame Nation? At least, Finn had no difficulties communicating with them, but he didn’t ask Dunn Monty about it. On Earth, you could search for most answers through the ubiquitous search engines. In the Galactic Federation, there had to be something similar.

The vehicle appeared somewhat rusty but ran smoothly. From the outside, Star Harbor seemed small, but once inside, its vastness could only then be truly appreciated. The large double rings of steel, which were apparently inhabited, contributed to its size. Just how many people were there?

“Is this your first time visiting Death Star?” the child driver asked, unable to resist striking up a conversation, like all drivers across the universe.

“No, just focus on driving,” Dunn Monty interjected before Finn could reply, “And if you keep gabbing, I’ll blow your head off.”

The child quickly silenced and Finn chose not to say anything either. While Finn wasn’t one to shy away from trouble, it didn’t mean he invited it.

After about ten minutes, the vehicle stopped at a place that appeared to be a checkpoint. Once they got out of the vehicle, Dunn Monty quickly dismissed the young driver.

“Your Highness, that is the entrance to Star Harbor right over there. Once we enter, we will officially be within the jurisdiction of Death Nest and must abide by their rules. Well, there aren’t really any rules here—as long as you don’t destroy any official buildings, everything else goes,” Dunn Monty whispered.
