“Sure thing,” said Haitao. “Other than that, I will be sponsoring 150,000 CPs as the prize. The first place will receive 100,000 CPs, 30,000 for first runner up and 20,000 for second-runner up.”

The entire bar was buzzing with excitement. Although some students were born in a wealthy family, the majority were just average people from average families. These people could hardly earn a few thousand CPs in a month. To them, a hundred thousand CPs was a huge sum of money.

Li Haitao felt smug with the outcome. Once the crowd had quietened down, he began speaking again. “To those who would like to participate, you can look for assistant president Wang to sign up for the match. We shall start in just a moment.”

Zhao Lei looked at the crowd that had lined up to register. “Yao, are you going to register for the match?” he whispered.

Li Yao shook his head. ‘I have experienced a decade worth of life.’ Until now, he had never thought of how to treat his ex-girlfriend. It would be a lie if he were to say that he had forgotten about it, but the passionate love they previously had was gone. “Congratulations to you.” Li Yao picked up the wine bottle to pour more wine into his glass. He tried to hide the strange look in his eyes.

Disappointment flashed across Fengyi’s face. She stood up and walked away, she stopped momentarily as she said, “I will only use half of the money I have earned these two years.”

Li Yao was slightly absent-minded after having had a few glasses of wine. How could he have not caught the meaning behind Fengyi’s words. With Fengyi’s ego, this was her attempt to reconcile with Li Yao.

Everyone cheered in excitement after they heard Zhang Ming’s words.

Li Yao wobbly stood up and scanned the crowd, he held up his wine glass. “My apologies, my skills are just average, I wouldn’t want to embarrass myself.”

“Ah, you’re wrong then. We’re just old classmates, we don’t care about skills or whatsoever. Winning or losing is not important. What’s important is that everyone is having fun. Am I right, everybody?” Zhang Ming replied promptly.

“Yeah that’s right, come on and play.”

“Agreed, I heard that Li Yao is also a commentator, which means that he might be quite skilled. Come on, stop being so modest.”

“Come on, have a PK with me, I will be gentle,” said a female classmate affectionately.
